1) Kanarraville Waterfalls
I used to be really hesitant to tell people about this place before it got popular. It used to be a "secret" place that not many people knew years ago. However, it became one of the most visited waterfalls around in the area hugely thanks to social media. I do not blame people posting pics of the waterfalls because they are spectacular. Now it is a permit based visit only. You will need to get one on online and it can be hard to get in the summer. Avoid summer and weekends. As amazing as it is in the summer, it becomes even more fascinating in the winter. If you decide to visit here, just be safe. This may not be for small children or those who may not be fit because you will need to hike in the water and uneven surfaces. In some places, the water level comes up to your waist. Also, the ladders are slippery and may not be easy to climb up for some hikers.
2) Upper and Lower Calf Creek Falls
Upper and Lower Calf Creek Falls are located right on HW12 just north of Escalante. The lower one is more popular than the upper one. It takes about 45-60min hike into the fall but the sight you see is AMAZING! You can also take a dip into the water at the bottom of the waterfall. The parking area is limited and can get busy during the summer so go early in the morning to secure a spot.
3) Toquerville Falls
This waterfall is located just north of La Verkin. You will need a 4x4 HCV to get here. In hot summer days, you will be tempted to just jump in the water and chill. I would rather visit above 2 waterfalls personally but worth seeing once.
4) Willis Creek Canyon
Located in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument just east of Bryce Canyon, when the water flows enough to create a waterfall in the slot canyon, it becomes a sight worth seeing. The easiest way to get to the trailhead is to drive south from Cannonville to BLM500. You will feel comfy in a 4x4 HCV. Overnight stay requires a permit.
5) Other Waterfalls that Only Appear with Rainfall
When it rains around slot canyons, it becomes dangerous and lethal. You do not want to be in the flash flood. However, it can create some waterfalls that appear only after a rainfall. Just stay safe. They may just show up at random places at a random time (:
